My Weekly Book Pick

I'd like to do this every week or so. I try and read at least a book a week, if not more. Some weeks its more, and some weeks, I get about 4 pages read. :) We all know how that goes!

Anyways, this was recommended to me by a friend and its FABULOUS. 

Synopsis:

My Review:

I loved it. Loved it, loved it, loved it. I was enthralled by the way that she describes the characters and how they were feeling, both towards each other and their environments. I kept trying to identify myself and decide whether I was a "Kate" or a "Tully" throughout the book, and it just kept changing! I did find parts to be a little "Lifetime Movie"-ish, but it was compelling and very hard to put down. 

On a personal note, the prom dress shopping scene was extremely emotional for me, having done the exact same thing with my mom while she was undergoing treatment for leukemia. Having gone through several of the characters' experiences, I can say that Hannah did an outstanding job capturing the emotions of her cast.
