This week's Family Fun day is Easter Eggs!! Of course, you can do these any which way that you please. There are countless kits and patterns and projects that you can do depending on your kids' ages and abilities. As for mine, we stuck with the plain ole 99 cent Paas kit from Walmart and even that was a challenge not to ruin! I of course, started off the ruinage by putting vinegar in my pink. Hence, I have a few speckled eggs, which I thought were kinda cool, but apparently are LAME. SO, we have a nice stack of brightly colored and some multi-hued (okay, brown) eggs. Emma shattered her share (that's why they're hard-boiled, people!) and Harry lost patience and created some "pale" eggs, but whatever. They'll all be egg salad on Sunday night anyways....
I dream of making eggs like this someday. I do remember blowing eggs and painting them at some adventurous mom's playdate as a kid, but haven't done that in years and years... And it'll probably be years and years more before I get the chance again. Jay thinks next year we'll try the Glitter Eggs kit. Ooooh.... stepping it up a notch!! LOL

I love coloring eggs~!~
If this is the second level of egg coloring, I'll never get there.
I missed dying eggs this year. We did a really fun Easter egg hunt, but I missed coloring them myself. Next year.

Did the glitter kit this year from Walmart. Don't bother with the kit. It's really lame and our eggs weren't very glittery. There's bound to be another way or a kit that is more fun.
